As we adventured through Sintra, my hostel mates Kyle and Katie decided to separate. I came across this charming and hidden restaurant away from the centre. From the outside it seemed sketchy and strange, but I was told the places that appear odd on the outside are the absolute BEST!

As you can see in the image above, these are stuffed mushrooms with Portuguese sausage... they were amazing! Freshly made, and the waiters were very friendly and accommodating. I also had my first traditional Portuguese beer, called Sagre (so good).

The centre of Sintra is also very beautiful, with a gorgeous Palace right downtown.
