My first day in Lisbon was mixed feeling of emotions. I was sad that I left my family and friends back in Canada, but I knew it was for the best for a lifelong opportunity. I decided I wanted to make the most out of my European experience and to start off in a completely new country. So I chose beautiful, Portugal. It also happens to be right beside Spain, so It made it convenient.
I arrived in Lisbon early in the morning. When we landed, I looked across the fluffy white clouds, and saw swaying palm trees, beautiful blue waters and unique buildings with white and red roofs (quite charming).
Not only were the sceneries beautiful, the architecture was fabulous! This new country I am experiencing has so much to offer, and not only was the food good, their Sangria is excellent too!
